Dutchover is a full-service landscape architectural firm with 40 years of experience creating sustainable landscapes . Landscape architectural services include landscape design, plan review, construction management, field inspection, grounds and facilities evaluation, water management, landscape management, and development of landscape installation and maintenance specifications.
Founded in 1978, Dutchover is family owned and operated and maintains a reputation for meeting high quality of standards. Our Team
Al Dutchover
Al, our owner, brings together his deep understanding of botany and soil science with a love of design to create beautiful and usable outdoor spaces. As Principal Landscape Architect and general partner, Al utilizes his 40 plus years of experience to shape environments to meet diverse needs.
Brian Dutchover
Brian, our owner, is in charge of design and construction management. He makes sure that our designs are executed flawlessly, protecting your investment. As Senior Designer and general partner he applies his 35 plus years of experiences and his acute ability to understand the distinct needs of our clients.
Steve Valenzuela
Steve is our irrigation expert. He ensures landscapes are irrigated efficiently for the needs of the landscape. As Designer and Project Manager he applies his 20 plus years of experience and is involved all aspects of landscape design, including residential, commercial, recreational and educational facilities. Steve’s background in irrigation design provides us the opportunity to provide in-house design using water efficient technologies and water management practices.
